flp and borla cat back

flp and borla cat back Who has this setup and how does it sound I have borla cat back already and I am plaining to get soem flp here in the next couple of months. One other thing how much of a difference did you feel with power after you put the flp on.

Re: flp and borla cat back Had the same exhaust on a head/cammed/382. The addition of LT's will be really noticeable both in power and in noise. If you are into loud, then the full open is impressive. If you are interested in having power without attracting the attention of the authorities then the full blockoff plate will be reasonable. I'vs seen dyno' sheets in both extreams on the same setup and the HP & Torque output is changed very little. I'd vote again for the FLP product as you are over the other options but then again thats what I've got.
Re: flp and borla cat back We do quite a few FLP/Borla installs here at the shop, and it does sound good. You'll have quite a bit of raspiness with the Borla, though, if you run without the cats. You should expect to pick up right at 20 RWHP with the addition of FLP's. That's what I saw at peak through my A4. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
