Default SLP Cold Air duct

What are peoples thoughts on this, does it help any. I have one right now and am unsure if I should put it on. I don't think it would be good on hot days because it blocks airflow to radiator. But on an average 40-50degree day, is it worth a few rwhp?

I think the biggest improvement is when you have to cut out the bottom of the air box to get their metal duct in. I am putting an extension on mine and feeding more "outside" air to the intake.
With the stock air dam on, you won't block any air to the radiator.

Yeah, I cut out my stock box for the SLP cai kit. It was worth it. A lot cheaper than the Ram Air box, and I think higher velocity from the scoop.

i just bought the super sucker ram air. it actually angles away from the radiator so you dont have as much of a problem as the fast toys ram air or the slp version. anyone ever heard of it?
