I would like to know how it looks on a Z and how loud is this setup. My setup is pretty mild, but I would really like to see about this setup. Pics installed or sound clips would be awesome

Dr Gas ovalized equal length X pipe with Spintech mufflers. Those are run on Nascar. No one has an ovalized setup like that, a few have segments of oval piping but not the whole deal. I have been told that Spintech's mufflers for f-body apps dont flow too well but maybe their single-in/out style perform better.

The ovalized X has intrigued me for some time now. I think it'd be an awesome setup for a lowered F-body. Wonder what it would sound like.

I was considering trying that setup with my Grotyohanns. I not going to lower my car so I wasn't too concerned with ground clearance. Later, I figured that it wouldn’t work. The X can't be centered between the headers. The X section needs to be positioned more towards the passenger side. Even if the car is not lowered. The oval tubing is 2,1/2 inches thick. With 1/2inch clearance between the oval tubes and the chassis. That’s a 3-inch reduction in ground clearance. I went outside, lay down by the car and tried imagining exhaust pipes hanging 3" lower than the chassis. Yikes! I didn't want to risk a $725+ exhaust system. Huuu. Just the flat X section is $500 by its self.
