Default Where did you mount your MAFT?

Well I put the Hooker LT's on and started running rich, so I bought the MAFT. I'm wondering were the best place to mount it would be? I saw one mounted on the plastic radiator cover once to the side of the intake lid, but it was on a Ram Air TA. I looked on my hood and there seems to be a brace in the hood that runs right above that?

I mounted mine on the driver's side fender just behind the fusebox. I had to extend the wiring about 12 inches or so, but it makes for a cleaner installation IMO. I can email you a pic if you're interested (no way to post it here ).

i mounted mine to the right of my lid and then ziptied the wires so they wouldnt get into the belts. looks fine to me, im not worried about "clean" looking as long as it works for me.

Hondakiller, Did you mount it to the back part of the radiator plastic piece, or on the top at the back? Also do you have a regular hood?

I just used some weather-proof connectors and 14-16g wire. It worked out nicely. I believe Ramchargers sells an extension, but its about 3 feet and was way more than I needed. I've heard people suggest that extending the wires affects the signal, but mine works like a charm.

Thanks for all the quick responses everyone I ended up mounting it in almost the same place as BillWS6Formula, but rotated 90 degrees so you can read the words and a little further back to the left.

I mounted mine where 2000 Camaro SS has his, except I pulled the sticker off. I didn't need people to see I had *Horsepower In a Box*

I did mine the same way, except I used velcro to hold it there. Only reasons I chose to do this was a) I had the raptor hood waiting to be put on, with the replacement airbox, so the plastic piece will be going away, and b) I don't like drilling holes!

I just snapped a quick shot of it. I know it's dirty. It is my daily driver and it has been raining.

A MAFT will allow you to "tune" your a/f ratio for both part and WOT. You'll need AutoTap as well though to help nail it all down.
