should I be popping? I installed bolt-on pipes that delete the cats and I am also running w/ my cutout open. Have o2 simms installed also. The car is a 2000 and it keeps popping once I let off the gas. Just wondering if I did something wrong.

Re: should I be popping? Popping isn't a big deal if it's just by itself. But when you have popping occuring with or without your cutout open and it is accompanied by black smoke you're running way too rich and you need to correct your a/f ratio via an autotap scan and a MAFT correction or have it done professionally at a shop. Word to the wise for all those cutout fanatics out there...all it does is richen your a/f ratio to gain a little more top end when the a/f starts dropping off....it's really not necessary...and they're so god damn annoying
