best sounding exhaust i am seriously thinking about an aftermarket exhaust. i was just wandering what everyone thought was the best sounding and performing muffler - overall. i want it a little on the loud side, but nothing to make the neigbors sit up in bed! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: best sounding exhaust I went with Magnaflow. It may be quieter than what you are looking for. It is a little louder than the factory system that is on your car now, but it is much deeper. Alot of people like the Hooker system and it has a good sound. I had a hard time finding people in my area to listen to so I used this website, www.thefbodyshop.com it has a section of nothing but LS1 exhaust sounds. Good luck in finding the right system for you.

Re: best sounding exhaust Hands down true duals are the best sounding exhaust, but you need a good exhaust guy to fab a system up for you and you are better off waiting till after you get headers so you don't have to do it twice.

Re: best sounding exhaust I have borla I think it is awsome sounding <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> . It also comes with plates that you can swap out so you can decide what plate you want for how loud you want. Its a little more then the other products but I love mine. Go to thunderracing.com if you don't have a high flow air box then spend the little extra money and buy the performance package which comes with Borla cat-back and whisper air lid.
