Default Egr Air!??????

Anyone have a link that explains the removal of the EGR and AIR!. Im going to be putting my LT's and true duals on this weekend and was just gonna pull it all out at once! Any other things I should do while im doing the headers? Im also going to be changing plugs and wires.

If you want more info installuniverity.com has the EGR removal but not the AIR removal but that first link i gave you has both. I will also be putting on my pacesetters and true duals this weekend

If you are installing headers, then the only thing you would need is the freeze plug for the intake correct? Assuming you have race style headers...

Yes, but you will also need extensions for the front two O2 sensors.

Yes I have the O2 extensions and gaskets as well.... Im also wondering about painting the headers is that possible without it burning off???? I have a buddy who got his powdercoated but that wasnt to cheap he said.

I would not suggest painting them. My buddy bout the best paint he could and it has only been about a month and the paint is already starting to go bad. So i would just suggest getting the ceramic coated ones or the stainless ones

How much would it cost to get these codes tuned out, and would i fail inspections, or do mmany places like virginia give a sniffer test.
