Thanx
Austin
1st. Air Lid!!!Air Lid!!!Air Lid!!!This is a must!!! This adds about 10RWHP for about $150 with a K&N filter.
2nd. Exhaust!!! A cut out is the best bang for your buck. Especially If you like people to hear ya!! This adds about 10RWHP For about $70 installed.
3rd. A Shaner or Jantzer Ported TB that adds about 5RWHP for about $140
4th. A SLP or Z06 85MM MAF thats adds about 5RWHP for about $160
At this point you deffanatly want a MAF Translator to ajust A/F ratios. It can add at least 5RWHP for about $180
5th. It will be time for some headers 10-25RWHP for 450-1300 a complete set.
And keep in mind. All of this stuff will complement each other. You might see 10hp for a lid and 10 hp for the exhaust cut-out. But together you might see 25hp. Also peak number depend on the car. Theirs a good differance between a A4 and M6.
lid and filter. We call this the FRA
( free ram air ).

Be aware that not all aftermarket parts complement
each other, each of these cars has personalities
which are diffrent, you may have a freak ( high horsepower for setup ) If you can , swap out with
a friend to see if the part likes your car, for
example the MAF ends and air flow meter cause
lots of problems for some.
You will be safe with catbacks, headers and non
electronic things.
If you've got an A4, forget all the mods mentioned and go directly with a converter. This thing alone is worth every penny you spend on it. I dropped (last night) almost .9 seconds in my ETs with my converter. After which do what ever you like.

I will agree with that.
