AC fluid amount?
AC fluid amount? Well I finally got my ac back in and together but I don't know how much fluid to add. A buddy of mine said to add around 35 to 40 ounces of R134a. Is this true?

Re: AC fluid amount? mine was happy after about 28 oz. after the AC runs for 3 minutes on high, you want your low-side pressure to be around 42-45psi. get a cheap guage and just check it after each can. Dont overfill.
Re: AC fluid amount? My friend sucked all the fluid out with a vacuum pump and we added about 38oz including oil. I can't remember the low side, but the high side pressure was around 240 psi. I was thinking that the low side was below 50 psi but can't remember. Thanks for the help.
