do i NEED a tune right after LT install

Default do i NEED a tune right after LT install

what it says above...

also, if i do not get a tune for a while, but do not drive the car EVER (it isnt a DD)
will it be ok until i can get the tune if i have to drive it somewhere?

just making sure.......

Yes you can drive it without a tune, it'll drive fine, probably run rich, but it'll run and drive
FWIW mine was running rich for about a week, (avg 16mpg) its since settled down to pre header gas mileage (19mpg)

You will be fine, actually you might want to drive it a little so all of the codes pop up, this way you will not miss anything after a tune.

Mine ran fine after install....I didnt get a tune until I started other mods.

You can run it with out a tune and be perfectly fine. If you plan on bigger mods in the near future, I'd wait and just have them tune for everything in one visit.

I actually ran leaner when I went from stock to full exhaust. Was 12.2 before and 12.5 after. A tune will just get the full potential, but is not a must have with headers.
