Default What's up with TPIS long tubes

I'm wondering if anyone has used these. I'm picking up a set tommorow for my car. Any dyno numbers? Problems?
Let me know if I'm making a mistake.

I've heard they're really good. We have a set at the shop here and I keep debating between them and Hooker LT's

I don't think they make an F-body application, but their C5 longtubes are some of the best for sure.

Just got back from TPIS a little while ago. Man I am extremely happy with the way these headers look. No slag at the flange welds and the quality looks A1. While I was there I also bought one of their ported throttle bodies. Looks very well done as well. They actualy do them on a CNC machine. I got the longtubes (Coated) their 3" y-pipe with 3" Carsound hi-flow cats and the throttle body for 1400. I am a happy boy. I am having these installed this coming week. I will post the dyno numbers to let you see how much they improved. My last numbers were 448/412.

Let us know what kind of gains you get. I can't decide between the TPIS LT's and the Hookers. My friend who has a 98 with the TPIS LT's on has his car lowered. Boy there's not much clearance at all.

Sure they make them for LS1 f bodies. Like I said I've been looking at a set here at the shop, and a friend installed them in his 98.

Were there any changes to TPIS headers from 98 to the current production ones?
