Smoke Me and my friend who has a new gmc were going down a double lane on the way home and I got the notion to nail just messin around. He said that when I hit it my exhuast let out a lil smoke. He said it was nothing like rolling black smoke just a lil likte lite grey puff just enough to see that I nail it. Is this normal? If not what should I do? Thanks. 99 a4 trans am.

If it puffed when you snap the throttle
off, then that would be a high vacuum
sucking up oil. But it it's when you snap
the throttle open, it's probably just
off mixture for an instant. Software
accelerator pump might need adjusting.
Get the pliers.
