Just installed the LS6 intake from SLP (non-egr w/ help of LS1 edit) shipped to my door $420 (delivered in less than 2 wks!) I have the TR224 and feel a sotp of 15 to 20 rwhp. I did also install SVO 30# injectors while doing the intake swap, which decreased my duty numbers considerably. BTW, it is great reason also to paint the intake.

The 01 and 02 Camaro does NOT have the LS6 intake. It has the identical c5 engine (except maybe the cam), but it has no LS6 parts. If you want an aftermarket intake manifold, you may as well get either the Holley or SLP unit. And don't expect insane gains in your 1/4 time. In ideal conditions, you'll maybe grab another .3

well from my understanding, GM desinged the intake for the 1s6 engine and just put it on all 2001 and 2002 camaros and corvettes. this is why everyone calls it the ls6 intake when it should be called 2001 and up intake (just my opinion). on the holley intake, i would say not to get it. i already met 3 people that installed and removed it shortly because they dont release heat very good causeing a loss of power over an 2001 and up intake due to higher incoming air temp's. the way i see it, the stock 2001 and up intake has already proven to 9 second ets. so unless you plan on going faster then that, i would buy it for sure.

the 01 and 02 fbodys have the LS6 intake and the slp unit is o.e. , its not a slp product that they make. and i really doubt you will gain .3 in 1/4

The 01 and 02 LS1's (including the C5) DO already have the ZO6 intake manifold.
It is those of us with '00 and earlier models that need to upgrade at some point.
