Re: 99 FLPs on a 2001 You will need to block the EGR, and get a set of shims with a 3/16" dia hole in the middle for the AIR flanges (this is so that the check valves in the AIR system don't get damaged). You will also have to remove the AIR tubing and bend it 90 deg. so that it will match up to the AIR flanges on the headers. Be sure to use the stock manifold gaskets.
Re: 99 FLPs on a 2001 I put a set of FLP's from a 98 onto my 01. I didn't want to bend around my AIR tubes, so I purchased new 98-99 (GM PN 12559188 & 12559189) tubes from gmpartsdirect for about 25 bucks each. I also ordered all new gaskets from them as well, since they were really cheap. The guy who I purchased my headers from already had all the emessions equipment blocked off, so I just drilled a small hole in each of the AIR block off plates and bolted it all down. Been running since january with no problems at all.
