Default Break in period for loudmouth

I installed my loudmouth last week and yesterday when i left the house it sounded alot louder than what it had when i first installed it. Is there a break in period where the exhaust will just keep getting louder until it has reached its max noise level.

I think that our cars are alot louder when they are cold. Then again it maybe that we just recovering from the temporary hearing loss from the night before

I can raise all kinds of hell leaving the house with my custom exhaust, but when i come back it just doesnt seem to have the same growl.

My car got a lot louder and deeper sounding after 1000 miles.

There's nothing to break in. It's just your imagination.
