With a LS6 intake, What kind of gains can i see as far as 1/4 mile performance?


and maybe with a tune after the intake?


I heard with a tune, the way its sits right now, i can pick up 2 tenths and 2mph

My guess would be a good 30Ponies from the Tune & intake. Give or take a few.

You should gain 10-15rwhp 15-20rwtq from the ls6 intake. Add another 20rwhp and 30rwtq for the tune. I know of a guy that just picked up 12rwhp and 2Xrwtq from a tune on his basically stock car. You being with headers and stuff should pick up a good bit more.

I wouldn't be that optimistic, that would be saying that with just a bolt on car he would be putting almost 360rwhp and 390rwtq, there is no way with his mods.... I would guess what WS6Man2000 said and say 15rwhp or a little more depending on the tune

I would say save your money unless the tune is free. But the ls6 intake would be a good investment.

338 RWHP 366 RWTQ right now with boltons, with 15rwhp. itd be close to 360 hp, no? and then the tune? not sure about torque, but with intake and tune, itd be closer to 380?

I can't speek for the ls6 manifold but my tune gave me .2 in the 1/4.

I'd definitely say you will pick up some tuned. I really couldnt tell a difference when I switched mine, but it hasnt been tuned yet.

i picked up 1.5mph in the 1/4 after my intake and tune. im in high elevation here in vegas so im guessing you'll get a solid 2mph or 15-20rwhp.
