o2 placement for Edelbrock Slip On Merge Collector Headers?
After a pretty extensive search I have read that people are placing the o2's on the collector and on the y pipe. Which is the optimal location for the o2's?I am installing these headers this weekend and woudl like to know the + and -of each before I make a decision.
Thanks,
Neal

I dont have the headers but if it were me, I would place the o2's on the y-pipe. that way you dont mess up the coating on the headers. I dont think there is any real pros or cons going either way.

Placement will effect how long the O2's take to heat up and beign cycling and in extreme conditions can reduce the life of the O2's if they are located too far back. I'll put all three in the collector, at worst, the leading edge of the Y Pipe (1x Wideband).
