I had to keep asking if we were talking about the same part number because the price was so good.

And by the way, Carsound makes the highest flowing CAT's.
I have the tts headers ,their cats and electric controller cutout system..my car is not loud at all with the cats might want it a bit louder but of course with cutout open it does the same thing..really wonder how much power I am losing.if its like 5 hp dont' care much if its like 15rwhp then would car ..should seems like I got a big sotp from just the headers though even with cats..heard the tts used to be not very good but they claim the new ones flow just fine..

Actually, John, the latest test I read had the Random Techs not only outflowing the Carsounds, but significantly outlasting them, as well. The RT's were bulletproof through some high hp NOS testing, where the Carsounds burned up and fell apart....

I saw on here that they flowed 560cfm so I checked with Random Tech and they said the same thing. 560cfm at 28in/H2O.
They are a little exspensive but, Carol at Tbyrne gave me a smoking deal on them.

Thanks
Cats do have asbestos linings in them so good respirator should be worn when hollowing out cats. and contents should be swept up and bagged and thrown away in auto shop(hazardous materials) dumpster. For any one who is interested i flow tested ported head with and with out 2000+ stock manifolds and cats, results were passenger side out flowed drivers side together or tested individually and worst cat only hurt exh. flow between 5 cfm and 15 cfm at hi lifts versus no cat and integral pipe.

Really !
Damn that is some good info to know !
If you want some really high flowing cats, get some 3" RT cats put in. Part# 703000 3"I/O 9.5" overall length, 4" bullet style.
I saw on here that they flowed 560cfm so I checked with Random Tech and they said the same thing. 560cfm at 28in/H2O.

Thanks for the update on the 703000's. I had heard that RT was putting out this new cat and it would flow more than the 813000 bullet due to the metallic vs. ceramic substrate. Those flow numbers are exceptional for such a small cat.
