Pics(inside) of Random Tech #703000 3" Cats
These are the cats to have if you want high flow(560cfm) and don't have much space to work with.

Here is there website. I don't think anything is listed about these converters though because they are relatively new. I'm sure they know.

BTW, Carol at Tbyrne gave me a very good deal on these bad boys considering what the retail price is.
The reason I went with these is because I am going to run a full exhaust all the time and wanted some high flowing cats that were very short. I don't have a lot of room to run a cat or cutout the way I want to route the exhaust.
The exhaust will consist of AS&M 1 3/4" headers(for a truck) with modified 3.5" collectors, 3" cats(couldn't find a 3.5"), 3.5" pipes to a 3.5"->4" flowmaster y-collector, finished up with a 4" magnaflow race muffler with a turndown. It should flow relatively well behind the 422.

Do they make those in 2.5" and if they do, would you happen to have the part #.

The RT part #'s generally list the first two digits of the cat series (7000 series in this case) followed by the diameter (3" in this case). So if there were a 2.5" cat, which I don't know (but wish I'dve bought instead of my 8100 series bullets ) it would likely be part # 702500.
I'd contact RT and find out. They were surprisingly responsive when I emailed them about a different question. I had an answer in less than 24 hours!
Thanks

These cats are made with a metallic substrate, like Euro/Japan cats... Won't meltdown like USA ceramic substrate cats...
I bought a pair $221 each..
I've installed one in my Mufflex drivers side downpipe already & still have RASP, on this side. It's only half as bad as before.. I'm thinking that the high flow rate has something to do with RASP...
