Well, actually it does. We're talking technically it isn't worth spending the kind of money places are summoning but theoretically anything you can 'bolt on' to the engine in an external fashion is a bolton.

I'd say it most definitely helps, similar to descreening a MAF; any increase in airflow capacity, translates into greater hp potential for any given set of modifications. It's just up to you to unleash it.
