Default descreen maf w/A4?

I have heard some people were having problems with their idle and part throttle operation after descreening the maf on A4 applications. anyone had these problems, and if so what did you do to overcome them? thanks in advance.

Descreening is rarely a problem. Porting a MAF with an A4 can cause issues if the car gets too lean.

descreening the MAF isnt gonna give ya but 1/2 a hp if that

but hey, its free

just dont port the stock ends you have. If anything buy a set of ported ends. You never know when you may need the stock ones again. Plus if you running lean with ported, you could put the stockers back in a richen the car up a little. I keep my ported ones in caue im pig rich
