Re: will a WS6 airbox fit?? doubt it....the hood clearence right above your airbox is no more than that of a stock hood i beleive. I just cut the front of my airbox out so that it looks like a WS6 airbox. Allows the same amount of air in and costs nothing.

airbox before it interfered with the hood.
If you want more airflow, I think the FTRA
or something like that is the best bet.
Never seen any pressure data to say whether
the SS hood air duct produces positive
pressure at any speed, or just admits cooler
air. Nor, whether that pressure is higher
or lower than the radiator airstream.
If you look at the airbox, that ramp of
plastic is shrouding half of the filter
element. Eliminating this is part of what
makes the WS-6 box better. Eliminating it
is what happens with the FTRA (and similar)
radiator-stream inlet duct installation.
