Borla vs. Corsa

I also have the Corsa. On a stock motor it's fairly quiet except at WOT. Add some headers and it takes a whole new tune. I will say that the Corsa is the most distinct and loudest exhaust at the drag strip. It's amazing how much louder than other exhausts it can become. You would really benefit from hearing them in person though.

Yup. The Corsa is a tame exhaust on a near stock motor, but a very different beast with headers and an off-road y. Add a cam and extra cubes, and watch out!
The only thing I do not like about mine is the extra weight for racing. But that is literally the only thing. I do not think I could get a system to sound better on my car.
Which leads to a point - be careful comparing sounds across different cars - engine and other exhaust setups frequently exceed the sound differences caused by the "cat"back systems.

People will notice a little, but it's not the run and hide the women and children look you get when it has headers. You will get more attention for how nice the tips look. Even more so on a Trans Am where the tips fit into the rear bumper cover nicely.
thanks
I agree that you need to hear each system to decide. There's a BIG difference in the sound between the two. Again, we carry both systems, so give me a call if I can help any of you out.

I agree that the interior noise at cruise is barely noticeable. The fit and finish are as good as it gets and their customer service will treat you right.
There was a shipping mixup and I ended up with two tips for the same side. One call and the correct tip was sent over to me - no waiting for me to send the wrong one back first. They just said ship it back in the same box that the new one came in. No worries mate.
As far as tunability goes - I think I would go for dumps to clear the women and children and then switch to an Office freindly set up at the flip of a switch.
My vote is for what I have but I'll stand on what I said before - it's so subjective that you should hear your options in person before plunking down your dough
i have a corsa... i do agree the tips are BAD A$$ they look REALLY awesome when people really brag about the tips im telling you that its really worth talking about!... the borla tips look and are very hard to clean... hope my corsa sounds better with headers though... i also agree with the bothering resonance sound cancellation with the corsa... its really comforting on long drives... you can actually talk on the phone without really screaming like other exhausts...
from the inside it wont really sound like an exhaust has been added to your car... as far as performance... i felt a BIG time difference and my TA only has a lid and a filter...
if your looking for a LOUD LOUD exhaust, turn heads, not pay too much go towards the borla or loudmouth... if you want to look sharp, have a deep tone, drive comfortably, be loud when you need to get the corsa...
