Oddly enough the cooling doesn't seem to have changed. Fans still come on after 15mins or so of driving in warm weather. Dunno about performance, SOTP is faster but haven't been to the track, been too busy with other things (fixing stuff, work, etc).

wouldnt any gains from the ssra or the ftra be cancelled out by the added heat in the motor from the ssra and the ftra cause?

In a word, no. My fans come on at 204 and I have a 195 t-stat, so the car stays in the 195-205 range all the time. I've gotten my best times at this temp range so I am definitely not losing anything. Not to mention it has become fairly apparent to me that the SSRA/FTRA do not significantly affect the cooling at all in the first place.

I'll give you all my performance review. I went to the track last weekend. I've been trying to break into the 12's forever. I have the usual mods lid, K&N, and Granitelli MAF. My first run was with the SSRA blocked off. I pulled a 13.13ET. This is pretty consistent with what I had been turning before I got the Supersucker. My next run was about 15 minutes later. With the block off foam removed I did my run. I turned a 12.91ET. I also picked up 2mph. I was so happy to finally break into the 12's. I think the SSRA works great!!

Hey LUV269, Great name <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> and nice numbers. Congrats on the 12's. I think Stealth Performance or Speed Inc. will be having a GP real soon. Call and bug them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
