Default SLP Loudmouth

I was curious about the Loudmouth. How does it sound on a stock motor. 2001 WS6. Is it a good buy? I want a really throaty intimidating sound.

Buy the SLP over the flowmaster. Craftsmenship is of better quality. I had the flowmasters, and wasn't too happy w/ quality. I bought SLP's exhaust and I'm happy w/ it. It sounds a bit louder than stock at idle. When your right foot gets heavy, you may want to watch out for cops. I would recommend it though!

Performance Mods:
SLP loudmouth
SLP SFC
SLP LCA
SLP PHR
Whisper lid
and more!

I just got done putting the Loudmouth on about 1 hour ago and I can't believe how much I love it. It sounds soooooooo mean. It is exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to run it at WOT.

it is the BEST exhaust system out there IMO. it hardly has any interior *annoying* resonance, not to say that it isnt somewaht louder in the car, but it sounds mean as hell from the outside. oh and its gonna be real fun jsut cruising around turning on alarms. lol

i've gotta say that i agree with everyone else- the loudmouth kicks ***! my only complaint is that the gap between the pipe and the driveshaft is about 1/8" or less. maybe i can bend it a little. as for the car alarms, the best place to go is any mitsubishi dealership and nail it down a row of montero sports. that drives the salesman nuts

My LOUDmouth sounds really good with my SLP Lt headers. It sounds very deep and throaty. With the Lt headers, it is really LOUD even when accelerating slowly, and shifting at 2300 RPM. I'll put it to you this way, my exhaust note almost drowns out my loud music, even when the windows are rolled up.

I just can't wait to hear what it sounds like tomorrow night with the TR 220 114 LSA cam in it.

The Loud Mouth is by far my favorite exhaust system for the f-body. You can't beat the price IMO!

I've had my LM for over a year. I had a flowmaster on the car before and the LM blows it away. I love the sound. I wish it was even louder. Sometimes I will ask friends to drive my car around while I watch from outside. It sounds mean! I bought mine from a GP for $300 shipped! Well worth the money. Nice deep rumble. Go get one NOW!

The Loudmouth is a great sounding exhaust. My Borla is great too, don't get me wrong. The Loudmouth is a bit cheaper and of good quality. I run my Borla wide open, without a plate in it. It sounds REALLY mean. It is all in what you like.

IMO, the LM cannot be beaten as far as catbacks go. Here's why:
1) lightweight (no muffler means 15-20lb weight savings)
2) stainless steel
3) relatively cheap
4) high flow (lack of restriction makes it one of the highest flowing catbacks available)

The only thing better would be true duals
