#1. depends. a 1/32 increase may add 0 rpm, just make it smoother or it might add 50 rpm. Depends on how the car is doing and your IAC count.
#2. Depends on the year. Most can go to 650 w/o any problems, some can go 700 rpm or higher w/o a code.
#3. Not sure the minimum, but 750 will work with a good lope.
#4. Probably not.

Default Questions about drilling the Throttle Body

Will be going to a TR224 114LSA Cam as soon as I can catch another good price on thier kits. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> I assume everybody is drilling the hole in the TB to raise the idle speed. My questions are;
#1 How much does this raise the idle?
#2 If it raises it more than 100 RPM's doesn't that throw a code?
#3 I've got a 3000 Vig Converter now.What RPM does this cam need to idle at without stalling?
#4 If I drill the hole bigger ,then get the PCM tuned later ,will I need to close up the hole again?

Thanks Joel. I noticed your running a similar cam only with a 112 LSA. What does it need to idle at to keep it from stalling?

I'm not sure what it's minimum idle speed is. I use 900 rpm so it soulds almost like stock. Stealth performance here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
