LS6 intake or not
So know EGR means that it is a LS6. There is a guy that has a intake on ebay that has no EGR but he said that it is not a LS6.Is it or not?

If it came off of a Corvette then it could be a LS1 intake. I think 97 through 00 Corvette's have the LS1 style without EGR and LS6 style without EGR starting in 01.

I mean I guess it's possible the guy doesn't know what he's talking about and actually has an LS6 intake but doesn't know it. I would be wary. If someone had the LS6 it would be colassally stupid to make less money on it by selling it as an LS1 intake.
But just so you know, I have enever seen or heard of an LS1 intank with no EGR provisions.
FWIW, I'm not sure of the truck cam specs, but I've heard that due to the LS6 hp gain the 01/02s actually utilize a more mild cam to save on emissions and eliminate the need for EGR provisions on the car.

You'll have to copy and paste it for it to work. Also, in the pic shown the LS6 intake manifold is on the left. Notice how the "floor" of it is flat.
