Dipstick in way of headers

How do you get the exhaust manifold off with the dipstick there and how do you get the header on with it. I have hooker headers if that helps any.

Take the dipstick out. It's just a 15mm bolt on the cylinder head.

When doing my MACs I had to remove the dipstick, put the header in place, then replace it, then tighten down both.

i removed the 15 mm bolt. Does it just pull up then. I looked at the bottom and it went into the block but couldnt pull it out. I guess i will keep pulling.

I don't recall an o-ring on the dipstick tube. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> Or am I being the "dipstick" here?

Once you get the 15mm bolt out, it should just pull straight out.

I just verified that there is indeed an o-ring... Looks like I am the dipstick here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Anyway, it just pulls straight out...
