Default Airborn coated headers?

I called a local shop to get their pricing on hooker headers and he mentioned that they used airborn coating instead of jet-hot. Does anyone have any experiences with this coating?

When I ordered my Grotyohann headers, he said he used Airborn for the coating. Not sure if he always used them. They'll be two years old in December and the coating still looks good except where the speed bumps hit the collector.

I am not impressed with airborne coating. My grott headers are starting to rust pretty bad. The car is never driven in the rain or snow and has never scraped the collectors.

I have a friend that owns a
96 Impala SS and his headers
were coated wit airborn coatings.
They look just as good as my
Jet-Hot Coated Hookers LTs.
I also believe that some
nascar drivers use it in their
cars, I think.
