Re: about flowmaster catback???? I bought a Flowmaster muffler only and it actually slowed me down significantly. It does sound nice though. I am replacing it with a Random Tech catback in a couple of months.

Re: about flowmaster catback???? catback's i study a lot on friend and this is why everybody dont like FLowmaster..... sure it sound's fricking killer man sound's great. Flowmaster has chambers there for less HP = no good time on the track... ok now let's get something stright when you post on this bord my friend when you talking about something like muffler's like flowmaster's you are talking about over the counter part's and muffler's..................... this sight is for Fbodie's people that fix there car's up and put XXXXXXX amount of dollar's in there car's..... now you can go to any muffler shop and get flowmaster's flowmaster has nothing to do with ****Theese's muffler's SLP,Borla,Magflow,GMMG.inc ect........ here we step up a bit see there's a diff between the boy's on the street running thoe's over the counter muffler on the street with there toy's... next to what we running....................

People look down on Flowmaster because of the lack of exhaust flow compared to other systems. There is nothing wrong with it, actually I run the American Thunder on my car, and I love it. I bought it because I love the Flowmaster sound, and IMO no other exhaust even compares in that aspect. But for highly modified cars needing all the flow they can get, there are better systems available.

Re: about flowmaster catback???? There is an old saying "Flows don't Flow". You want loud obnoxious sound put a cut out in. You want high flow with good sound and reasonable sound level at cruise put a Corsa/B&B Triflow/Borla or any number of other cat backs on.

Re: about flowmaster catback???? Here is another thing, if you are going to drive your car everyday, the Flowmaster will look like crap after a couple of years. I like mine very much but it takes some maintenance to keep it looking good! Next time I will get another brand!
