Who has........ I cant get my slp lid I bought to seal. It has a k&n airfilter and the gasket didnt come with it! So can anyone instruct me as to how exactly to apply some weather stripping to seal it off!?

Re: Who has........ I think zshark has done this and he is an augusta guy as well, be very carefull when you do this b/c i have heard of the weather striping comming loose and hitting peoples MAF and causeing the car to run like crap.

Re: Who has........ Yeah, I put the strip on that either came with the k&n or was off of the stock lid. Anyway, it had a place that was torn in two in the seal but it stuck on anyway. Well, eventually it got unstuck and strung back through the throttle body. I found it when my throttle started sticking at around 3 grand while I was driving down the road. My motor ate about an inch of the seal too. Didn't do any damage but I wouldn't recomend trying it.
Make sure the seal sticks, or do like me, don't use one.
