Default New mod!

I was just looking at my baby....I was thinking if we ad some wir to the MAF sensor and relocated it, it would have less turbulane going into the intake. I know we would need some kind of protection fron debris and stuff. So maybe a ram air set up directed to it. <img border="0" alt="[Corvette]" title="" src="graemlins/corvette.gif" /> I was so overwelmed with the thought I didn't stay long enough to see where I would relocated it to.......What do you guys think?

Relocating the MAF sensor? It would be kinda hard to measure the amount of air going into your engine that way wouldn't it?

We all know the intake on our cars is stifled. Most of us have done our best to make it less restricive (i.e FTRA, FRA, Supersuck,etc.). IMO, the location of the MAF is about as good as it's going to get. It's a straight shot from there to the throttle body and the intake manifold. I think relocating it would be pointless and it would probably hinder performance moreso than help it. The MAF itself could use a little work. The SLP MAF would've been a nice replacement from the factory.

Kudos to you for trying to be creative. That's how proven mods start. My $0.02 only of course...

Dan
