FLP header owners inside...

FLP header owners inside... is anyone having trouble getting your oil pan drain plug out w/ the headers installed? so far, i had to file down the head of the bolt, and STILL have to pry on the header alittle to get it out. any suggestions?

Re: FLP header owners inside... I haven't changed my oil yet after FLP install but will in a couple weeks when I store my car. I think someone suggested to realign the oil pan but that sounds a bit much. TTT for ya.
Re: FLP header owners inside... I had a little bit of a problem with mine... I just hit the bolt with a cutting wheel and cut it off right before the threads started. I have NO problems whatsoever getting the bolt in and out now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Losing the magnet wasn't a big issue for me... could be for others though.

Re: FLP header owners inside... i actually thought about cutting the inner part off, and not worrying about the magnet, but then GM released the bulletin for f-bodys and other truck motors for the needle bearings coming apart and getting stuck on the magnet in the oil pan. on mine, i think i might have to cut off a little more than just where the threads start. at least i'm not the only one w/ this issue. thought i did somethin' wrong, lol.
