Air Induction on 94 Z28 with LS1 Installed

Air Induction on 94 Z28 with LS1 Installed Installed the LS1 from my wrecked 98 Formula into my new project -- a 94 Z28. The install went very well. Fitment is excellent.
Here is my problem. The LS1 air induction lid from my Formula will not fit under the hood of the Camaro -- it is too tall.
I'm not an LT1 person, but probably need to find one and look into how air induction works on that car.
Anyway, for those of you who have done both, give me your ideas on something that flows well and is low enough profile to mate to the LS1 throttle body.

Re: Air Induction on 94 Z28 with LS1 Installed I thought the airbox was only lower on a ram air model WS6 and then it was same for all the rest including the SS. So only the WS6 would cause a problem.

Re: Air Induction on 94 Z28 with LS1 Installed I have a ultra z hood on my 94 so mine worked well <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Just make a pipe out of aluminum and run a huge K&N cone. That should work awesome.
