Alright, I did a search on this, I must be a total dumbass. I am having trouble re-installing the fuel rail. I have all the injectors in place with their O rings. I managed to get the rail to seat on the passenger side injectors, but the driver's side is giving me trouble. The 2 injectors near the firewall seem to be seated in the rail, but not in the manifold. The front 2 are the opposite. I have the clips installed on those back 2, but the front - no way. They're sunk deep into the manifold but are pretty far from each bung. (also, I seem to have lost one clip <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> ). And one of those passenger side injectors is not quite seated all the way into the rail since the clip doesn't completely snap on all the way to the lip of the rail bung.
So, what's the trick?
I'd really appreciate any insight into this chore.
Thanks

Anyone? Too stupid a question?
I'm stuck, literally. I don't want to turn on the fuel pump and have 50PSI fuel spraying all over the place....

PSJ is right about leaving them in the rail.
I would take it apart, then install all the injectors in the rail.
Next, put some vasaline on the injector O rings that go into the manifold, and then push it all down as a total assembly.
