Re: Replacing starter - pretty straight forward? Very easy. Two bolts (37 Ft-lbs retorque). Make sure you have the vehicle up high enough or it will be tight to work on. Also, be sure to disconnect the battery or you will have a fireworks show.
Did that and more this weekend as we put my LS1 into a 94 Z28 chassis.

Re: Replacing starter - pretty straight forward? Thanks. Someone told me the trickiest part was releasing the clips to move the trans cooler lines out of the way. Are these clips reuseable?

Be careful one or two of the wires are rather short, I think they are ground wires I don't recall.
Got to disconnect the battery since you are going to mess around with removing the positive/ power wire off the starter! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
