Talking What kind of headers do you have?

Post up what you have. And also what's the deal with the black painted headers? Post your pics if you have them too! I'll start. Not my car, but my girlfriends car. She had the Borla with the single tips, but we just switched it over to the Dual Borla, so its a big difference. Oh yeah she has Jet-hot btw.

I bought pacesetter LT's. The uncoated headers are just black, and tend to rust over time. I've had mine installed for about 2 1/2 months and the collectors are the only thing with rust.

I've got Pacesetter ceramic Coated LT'S that I love, Got a deal from TSP on Pacesetters and Catted (magnaflow hi flow) Y pipe for $700.00. The painted headers don't do as well with heat management as stainless steal or Ceramic coated which hold up well. Therfore the painted ones tend to have paint peel and rust quicker. There are some threads on this issue.

Maybe you should make this a poll to get a better idea. But I have the coated Pacesetters. Had them almost a year with no problems, great header for the money.

Armor coated pacesetter LTs, and pacesetter ORY, have had them on for around 4 months, no SES lights and no Y pipe banging (knock on wood)

Haha. Her LS1 is faster than mine! For now..there's two girls around here with LS1's. I'm dating one and the other one is taken also. Sadly she's with an import driver.
