Pics of the new QTP QTEC Y Pipe & Header Info
I have Grotyohanns for my 2002. It has a ball flang on the header collector.
Are your new Grots<QTP> headers going to have the slip fit collector?
Also, Are you going with 3" Y into a 3" collector? Or is there going to be a 3.5" collector?
In the 1st pic. I see a 3.5" to 3" transition on your collector
The Y Pipe is a 3" that mergers into a 3"-4" Flowmaster Y collector that comes back down to 3" to fit the intermediate pipe.
Can we buy one of the Ys with the cutout, but without the electric cutout?? I just can't swing an extra couple hundred for the electric cutouts right now.
Thanks
I am going to be doing dyno testing on my car. I have 2 cutouts up front and one in the back. I will see the different open/closed etc. I drove around with them open a little bit and felt a definate gain up top. Should post results next week.

I was just curious if the current Y could fit the SLP headers. I fully understand how busy you must be because that Y looks great. If you need a car to build an SLP version - mine could be made available probably. I'll be looking for those comparison numbers with the single and dual cutouts.
Keep the god products coming.
I have spray on the car just not ready to hook it back up. I beleive there will be a gain top end. Maybe 5hp or more. On the ZL1 Super Car with the C5R 427 gained 15rwhp over there GMMG Chambered Exhaust. It had Dual QTECs in the Y Pipe.
O2 simms? They plug in the wire up by the trans. But if your asking where the o2 bungs are there isnt a need cause sims are used.
Thats a MASSIVE 20hp and 16 ft/lb increase over the WHOLE graph!
Muffler on the car right now is B&B with ORP's and FLP's.
Dyno graphs come Thursday, as well as track times!
