Has anybody done a header swap?

Has anybody done a header swap? Has anybody who originally had SLP Lt's on swapped them for other header. If yes, what kind, did you notice any difference and is taking SLP Lt's off easier than putting them on? Also, will the SLP y-pipe that is used with the headers work with any of these other headers?

Re: Has anybody done a header swap? I took my SLP LT's off and put MAC's on for ground clearence issues. Actually couldn't tell much of a difference between the two as I went with a new x-pipe setup. The SLP's just hang to low and are a pain to put in( through the bottom, unbolt engine mounts and take off diverter and steering knuckle.) and take out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> MAC's were very simple and about 5 hours to put in and hookers are good also as I put a set on last night for someone in about 5 hours also. On the y-pipe issue. I sold it so I couldn't tell you. My new exhaust setup is very loud and very annoying. I LOVE IT. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
