Used the search, still confused, which headers
FLP - Good performance , swap cats and off-road pipes, oil drain plug issue and really close to oil filter (this one has me concerned)
SLP - Performance varies per car, hang low, Passenger header touches wire loom and even with SLP firesleeve this maybe an issue later, better durability than FLP (stainless steel and coated)
MACs - Mid length (others are LT), good performance, will get coated if purchased.
I will run cats all the time. SLP use RT cats, the MACs will have RT cats welded into ORY, FLP cats are said to be good also.
If I go with the MACs, how much performance(peak and under trhe curve) will I be losing compared to the others. I will not be doing any more mods to the car after this (besides tuning when the headers go on).
TIA for all the help.

I had MAC headers/off road Y-pipe on my car for a looong time before switching to the Dynatechs on the car now. I never had cats with the MACs, so I can't compare their cats to anyone elses.
Can't you put cats in the y-pipe on the Hookers? I think it's a different brand y-pipe, but I'm pretty sure it's been done.
-FLP's are great because they offer the entire package. All you need to get is some o2 simms and extensions and your ready to install them. HOWEVER, as you mentioned they can block the oil drain plug, there have been cases of the FLP's melting the oil filter a bit, and they are known to bang.
-SLP's are good, however i ruled them out because they hang so low. If you plan on lowering your car these are out.
-Mac's are good if you get the ones w/ ORP b/c the Mac cats flow worse than the stock ones. However, if you ever plan on doing h/c your going to have to switch these out with some long tubes to get the most power out of the h/c setup.
The setup that i've chosen is:
-Jet Hot Hooker LT's
Carsound Cats
Mufflex Ypipe
4"-3" reducer
o2 simms for rear o2's(so i can run ORP if i want, and so that i dont have to worry about getting the bungs relocated to the Mufflex Y)
Band Clamps (so the entire system is bolt on)
Anti-Seize (so that the header bolts will come out easy if need be)
With the above setup it's going to cost me alittle less than the FLP's, however i'm going to have a 3" ypipe and cats instead of the 2.5"
Hope that helps.
