X-pipe with fake tips(pic) I told a few guys that I would take a picture of my x-pipe with the fake TA tips.They are on my site now,and with geocites being stupid about linking pics,just goto my main site and you'll see a link on the left.
I don't think its rice and it has that stock look now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
And you can also tell in the pic what good clearance i have with my x pipe and dumps before the axles,Because you can't even see the dumps...lol

Re: X-pipe with fake tips(pic) I think it looks fine - but if you've gone through all that trouble, why not fabricate the pipes to bring the pipes over the axle and out, is there really no room to do that?

Re: X-pipe with fake tips(pic) That is one fine setup! I think it would be fun to change the fake tips to really small diameter pipes, maybe 1.5 inches, like a stock Civic. Then watch the looks on the ricers' faces when they see the small pipes and hear the deep basso profundo of the real exhaust. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I would go over the axle but I like the sound of the dumps <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> .Really though,it can be done but to go through trouble of getting the bends right over the axle was a headache i could do without <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Thanks, and yeah i get alot of people talking about my plates that live around here.As for the clearance,its the best clearance i've ever seen on a f-body.Way better than the y-pipe clearance!

So you basically bolted the tips only to the bumper hangers? Do you mean that there is no pipe going to the other hangers by the fuel tank?
What did you do about the open hole look?
