Here's the link to the correct "hump hose" from Air Flow Systems. Hard to beat $12.80 plus shipping for the same item SLP charges $49 for!

The SLP one is made of Silicone. That type of tubing can withstand high heat an other corrosive stuff found in an engine compartment.
Anyone had problems with the rubber one getting too hot?

FYI - I contacted FernCo about their products and they said that all their products can withstand a maximum heat of 120degrees.... but shouldn't be exposed for prolonged periods.

i sent the 3.5" back, and ordered a 4" to 3.5" hump hose. the hose is cheap, but shipping is not. at this rate, i could've already bought the slp hose! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> i'll post how it works out.

I just got my 4" to 3.5" hump hose from the link on the first page, in my previous post. It fits, but I had to trim about half an inch in length off the 4" side, which goes over the throttle body, in order to get the lid to seat correctly. I used the stock hose clamp for the 4" side, but I couldn't get the smaller stock hose clamp to fit over the 3.5" side. (No problem, I just bought a 4" hose clamp from Pep Boys for a couple bucks, and it fits fine.)
This thing DOES NOT flex easily at all, but I think it will flex enough to compensate for any engine movement. I'm keeping a close eye on my lid, watching for cracks, and I'll post here if I have any problems with it. I am definitely NOT throwing away my stock bellows!
