Install Headers?
How hard would it be to install long tube headers on a stock 2001 Trans Am WS6 M6? What is all involved, and what would it cost to have it done?
Thanks a lot!

Depends on the brand header. I hear that SLP's are the most difficult. I installed Hooker's last night with a friend and we had the headers bolted up in under 4 hours. That is with no air tools and no lift, just a jack and jack stands. We had to take off the steering knuckle and remove the oil filter, diverter. All of this is simple un-bolt and re-assamble. I was impressed on the ease of it all.
I got the SLP kit and it came with everything
I needed..
this is how I did the install.

I did FLPs with no prior experience. It took time, but you'll be able to figure it out if you're handy with a wrench. But be sure to get spark plugs and spark plug wires. You'll never get a better oppertunity to swap them than when the headers are out.
