Default which makes more power???

A true dual x-pipe setup after LTs or two cut outs at the collector of Hooker LTs? Is the true dual makes more how much? Just a bolt on car. I kind of need my car to be quieter so i am leaning towards cut outs.

I'd just do a single cuttout in the Y-pipe.

You could do dual cuttouts after the headers but that's way too much for a bolt-on car. You'd kill some low and midrange power with no gain up top. If you do do this at least use 18" extentions off of the headers to keep the O2 readings from getting screwed up (and they WILL if you don't!)

since you are in the 9's and i am so far from that. i will trust you on doing the single cutout. My question is how much power will it make? More or less than with a loudmouth. and should I put it right were the y joins? or right after? please someone post some pics were they put theres for best results

There is a hump going upwords in the floorboards and you can even fit an electric cutout there with no problems. If you decide to go with an electric cutout I would recommend QTP's.

P.S. Listen to the Colonol he knows what hes talking about.
