Default soldering

Ok so i pulled out the wires from the connector for my map sensor...

i got the little thingys out of the connector but i cant get any new ones, my question is can i solder the wires to the little inserts and then stick em back in?

i know on some things u just cant solder but i wanted to know if i can with this.

You're better off removing the terminals from the connector and either reusing them(if you can) or getting new ones and soldering those to the wires. I think I'd go to a junkyard and get a used connector and just splice it in. Use heat shrink

You would have to be careful that you do not get the
solder onto the contact face of the various spring
features (contact wipe force, contact keeper tangs).

Almost every connector in these cars is available from
Waytek, though their minimum order quantities kinda
suck. The connector type is told in the Helm manuals
and you can chase that down on Waytek's site.

Casper's may also have the more common pigtails good
to go.
