Default Ignition problem HELP!!!!

I think it is the ignition...I have a 98 LS-1 camaro with lid, filter, flowmaster muff, and fra mod. The problem is at the track when it is light out my car runs consistent 13.7 at 102.5 but when the sun goes down and the auto lights come on the cars runs 13.9 at whatever. WTF is going on here? I cant pull the fuse responsible cause the damn thing works my tail lights and turn signals, and my reverse lights. I'm changing spark plugs cause they need it but what should I look for? It runs better in the damn heat than on a cool night.

Need to look at your 60fts... I bet that's where your difference is. Plus, if you are going to BMP on street night.. the track goes to crap after about a hour with all the imports and other street tire'd cars stringing water all over the starting line.

You can disable it.

(info courtesy of BeaSSt)
As for the auto head lights, I did this mod in all of 1 minute. Take a large flat screwdriver covered in a thin rag and pry up the front dash panel that has the center vent opening (where the red alarm led sits).

This dash panel is held in with snaps and velcro and will pop right back into place when done. Keep working to the left and right of the center vent until you can lift the panel enough to get your hand in there.

Just to the right of the LED you will see a small sensor that will unscrew from the dash. This is the light sensor. Disconnect the two wire plug from the sensor and jump it with a piece of wire. Cover the plug and jumper wire with electrical tape and close the dash back up. Your done, the car now thinks its day all the time.
