I believe that all the lids are pretty much the same - just go with what you can get cheaper or which style you like better. I went with the SLP lid because I liked the oem plastic kind of look to match the rest of the car, but some like the carbon fiber look or the clear one. All up to you on what you like the best, but most perform the same.

Performance wise all the lids are nearly the same... most of us have our on opinions on the quality.

anybody have any opinions on the quality the brand of high flow lid? it would be great to know, they can't be all the exact same, its impossible, one has to be better than the other. One product is always is better, due to a better rap or quality, thanks for your help again

I have the SLP Lid, and I like the finish much better on the SLP lid than the Whisper lid or the Granetelli lid. It is just all a matter of preference.

My GMS lid sucks, the quality is horrible. I recommend anything but this lid. Good luck

Who has the best price on a Whisper Lid?

I'am concidering either a Whisper or LS1 Motorsports lid for my 2000 SS. I'am looking for quality construction and good performance.

Thanks for knowledgable replys.

Enjoy your cars.

The SLP lid is good. Good material. I just crashed the front end of my Z, I'll buy another one.

I have the black plastic Whisper lid, which fits great. However, I think the SLP lid's exterior finish is smoother and more OE looking.

forget those 2 lids. LS1 Motorsports lid all the way. It costs as much as the SLP lid and flows better than all of them. Thats my .02

MTI carbon fiber lid!!!

I helped a friend install a Whisper lid and the fit was nowhere near as good as my MTI lid, and mine is over three years old.

Peace,
Craig.
