Fuel system requirements for... Okay, current setup is stock 98 fuel sys. to supply a bolt on car, with cam, and 150 wet shot... Now, I am planning on upping shot to 200-225 and putting a set of heads on the car also(GTP or TEA) Now I plan on upgrading to a walbro 340 in tank setup, but is there anything else I will need? injectors, higher vol. fuel rails? Just trying to develop a plan of attack...

Re: Fuel system requirements for... I know the 255lph Walbro works fine for heads/cam and a 150 shot. I know you don't need bigger fuel rails for a 200 shot. That shot has already been done safely with the stock rails. You'll need bigger injectors only if you run a dry N20 system. You may want to look at the dual 255 LPH Walbro set up for the in tank. That's the only thing I'd be concerned over with a 200 shot.
BTW, since we are on the subject of the 340 LPH Walbro pump. Didn't that thing make our cars run to rich N/A?

Re: Fuel system requirements for... Thanks for info. Due to my cam, the car is running pretty rich already. I really wanted to go through the fuel maps with LS1edit, but I figured I would wait until the heads go on, as to avoid doing it twice...So, really just need to do the intank route? what a relief <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
