Whats wrong with my Car? Well earlier tonite I was at my friends house and was looking at his Dremel and that got me thinking about all the post I read about Porting and Polishing the MAF and the T-B. Well I took it home and Ported and Polished both, well after about 5 hours working on and off and the car sitting I finished and put everything back on, well I start it up and when I do, the car immediately falls flat on its face and almost dies. So I let it sit there and warm up since its been sitting. I let it get to about 150 degrees and start to pull out my driveway, but when I put it in reverse and let the clutch out the car would idle at like 300-400 rpms, and would barely move when usually the idle speed will get it going pretty fast, so I keep going and put it in 1st well it was ok until I let the clutch out abd then it idled down again. So I started driving and after about 3 min. and about 2 miles I drove back home and got on it a couple of times, well it seemed just fine and when I got back and redid everything (reversing in idle) it pulled just fine and was idleling properly, so Did I screw something up or was it just learning the new setup or what? Would resetting the PCM help any if so? Thanks for all the help. -Kenny

Re: Whats wrong with my Car? Thats very weird... Sure you hooked all the sensors back up and stuff? Yes I would say try resetting th computer and let it relearn. <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
Re: Whats wrong with my Car? Ya, I hooked all sensors back up and its not throwing a light or code or nothing, so <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> , I'll try resetting the computer tomm. Thanks for the reply.
