Exhaust Dump Hi guys ,
I need some info and a dvices about this (dump) , and how to find the soundclips.

Re: Exhaust Dump I've posted this warning twice before about dumping like this. I have an identical cutout on my '99, but I had my muffler surgeon fabricate an extension with a flange. I kept the cutout closed on street but would open it and put the extension on while running on the roadcourse. One day I ran it, on track, with the extension off. End of day there was a big gob of some plastic or rubber hanging down like an iccicle from above. What was left of whatever melted had solidified and I had to use a sawsall to cut it off. A lot of heat comes out of there and the plastic gas tank sits right above it. Needless to say, I don't dump like that anymore.

Re: Exhaust Dump I made 230 1/4 mile passes on mine, and drove the car for 7 months with it open all the time, and had absolutly no problems at all! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
